Three Pax fought off the fartsack to greet the gloom at RuckHill yesterday morning. Regulars Cowboy and YHC welcomed Forceps to the ‘Hill who was DR from Raleigh for business. After brief introductions we got underway.

Ruck to and up the nearest StinkHill steps, cross over to and down the next steps, then continue to and up the third set. Once at the summit, we made our way down the back spine to Kids Cove for a modified half Murph… AKA a Smurf. This consisted of 5 rounds of the following (rucks off) with a lap around Kids Cove after each set:
10 Pull-ups
20 Merkins
30 Squats
Once complete, we re-burdened ourselves and made our way back to the flags going up the back spine, going up and down stairs 3 and 2, and with time still on the clock, continued down stair 1 and up the adjacent hill repeatedly until the bell was ready to toll

Following Counterama and Namerama, YHC shared the following passages in hopes of encouraging the Pax to take time and really prepare for next month’s Fathers Day celebration. Given the type of men YHC has come to know through F3, whether they are still with us or not, I’m certain that all had at least one strong male role model to honor.
A Father’s Love
A father is respected because
He gives his children leadership…
Appreciated because
He gives his children care…
Valued because
He gives his children time…
Loved because
He gives his children the one thing
They treasure most – himself.
