After warmarama, flipped the coin. Heads – we wore 20 pound weights. Tales – we don’t. Of course it landed on heads and I know what you were thinking, no, I didn’t have a two headed coin.
Half mile mosey around school complex to the stadium. Once inside the stadium – Started with running up and down the stadium steps with an exercise at the top of each step. They included Lurkins, Durkin’s & Merkins (10 reps). Second lap sneaking up and down the steps we did various forms of one legged or two legged hops up the steps. With dips at the top as the exercise each time.
We finished the workout with what I call “big Burpee suicides” on the great bridge football field. Starting in the end zone do five Burpee‘s, and then run to the 10 yard line and do 10 big boy‘s, run back to the end zone do your five Burpee‘s and then go to the 20 yard line and do 20 big boys, and so on until time ran out (we got to the 50 yard line). All with weight. Earned that breakfast this morning!
