The Thang

Followed the route in the image above: up to Hidenwood, over to Hidenwood Elementary where the PAX did two rounds of suicides.

While on Hidenwood (there and back), PAX engaged in a Scout Run, taking turns at each intersecting street to run ahead to the next intersecting street and back to the group.

After arriving back and the flags the PAX did two rounds of Fartlek, with each PAX taking turns sprinting clockwise around the Ferguson Center Circle while the group moseyed counter-clockwise. Then to the flags.

YHC did not have a verse in the chamber as he had not planned to Q, but he shared with the group his own intermittent progress in various areas, and how it both speaks to the ongoing faithfulness of God, and the responsibility for each man to answer the call to righteous living that God has put on his life..

• YHC full-on crop dusted Appomattox while running ahead during the Scout Run. The only culprit could be zucchini and garlic mashed potatoes?
• Intermittent mumble chatter as different PAX took off at different points.
• While exploring Hidenwood the PAX discovered a SQUARE PARKING LOT, if you can believe it.
• YHC talked about the “extravagance” of Newport News Public School’s meal offerings over the course of the pandemic.
• The title of this Back Blast was not YHC’s first choice. His first choice would not have been good for the site’s SEO.
