The Thang
Mosey to burpee hollow. Paper with various exercises placed in a pile at one side of bridge. Pax then mosey up the hill toward playground where it was dark and foggy and creepy and eerie (but where there were no rapists hiding). When they come back and cross the bridge they do their 5 burpees then pick an exercise and complete 20 reps.
Goal was to collect as many exercises as possible. They included but were not limited to:
plank jacks, burpees, mountain climbers, diamond merkins, big boys, WWIIs, CDD, V-ups, toy soldiers, oblique v-ups, other standard stuff, etc.
Once we were out of paper we then were able to give our collected exercises to each other. We shared the burpees so everyone was able to partake.

The Russia stuff has had people stressed out, so here are some FDR quotes to give some comfort and perspective…
“I have seen war. I have seen war on land and sea. I have seen blood running from the wounded…I have seen the dead in the mud. I have seen cities destroyed…I have seen children starving. I have seen the agony of mothers and wives. I hate war. August 14, 1936
“Unless the peace that follows recognizes that the while world is one neighborhood and does justice to the whole human race, the germs of another world war remain as a constant threat to mankind.” February 12, 1943
Moleskin
- I checked my phone and saw that Huggies called at 5:52 am. The previous evening he had confirmed he would be at the workout in the morning. I called him after the workout to inquire about his absence. Apparently he had shown up (late as usual) walked to the tennis courts, abandoned his search, and then returned home dry. He burned gas in his truck but did not burn any calories. When we asked why he did not come to burpee hollow (where he should have known to check) he said “I was scared. It was dark and foggy and scary out. I did not want to be raped.” SO if you see Huggies, give him a hug and tell him not to be scared and then be scared of whatever creature would be big enough to actually rape him.
