The Thang

Mini Disc Golf Showdown: Split into two teams. Utilizing four discs and a basket, Team 1 (Wicked, Thriller, Joker) picks an exercise, then a team member from that team attempts to make all four discs on a mini disc golf basket approximately 10 ft away. Each disc made = 10 reps for Team 2 (Marvel, Wilson, Catapult); each disc missed = 10 reps for thrower’s team. Hold plank (audibled to Al Gore, then Six Inches) until other team is done. Run out of the playground and around the circle after each team’s turn. The picked exercises included but were not limited to:

• Burpees
• Big Boys
• Rocky Balboas
• American Hammers
• Pull-ups
• Squats
• Shoulder-tap Merkins
• CDDs
• Doorway Curls

• Last minute Q decision resulted in a straight-up theft of an old Buoy beatdown.
• There is virtually no comfortable, quiet way to run with a miniature disc golf basket.
• Without getting into too many details, let’s just say expectations and reality diverged greatly when it came to disc golf putting performance.
• Showodwn highlight was Wicked talking smack to Thriller, forgetting he was on his team.
• Other mumble chatter included:
  • The effect of various F3 and other extracurricular activities on marital equilibrium.
  • The importance of compromise and addressing issues in marriage.
  • The inherently exploitative nature of pornography.
  • The guaranteed multi-layered auditory experience of YHC’s flatulence.
