The Thang:  “Lesley”

Dedicated to Officer Lesley Zerebny, 27 years old, who was fatally shot while responding to a family disturbance call on Saturday, October 8, 2016. She had been with the Palm Springs (California, USA) Police Department for 18 months.

Zerebny is survived by her husband, a Riverside County (CA) Sheriff’s deputy, and her 4-month-old baby daughter.

COT:  With it being “Women History Month” I decided to go into WOD Well and find a good female inspired Hero WOD.  I grew up in a “broken” single parent home raised by my Mother with an older sister.  Females being strong and resilient was something I grew up with and appreciate more each day being with my M.  Encouraged the Pax to reach out and call your Mom (god willing) tell your M you love her and keep these relationships strong.

Moleskin

• It did not go unnoticed. MERKINS = Zero  (Everyone has homework)
• Hollow Rock, once you get into the right position and get to rocking, creates a nice ab burn.
• Gas Station noted he was going to get 100 Burpees in a workout, checked the clocked, only halfway done.  Not sure how many he ended with but he was going hard!
• Thriller came in at the end of WARMARAMA, something about Huggies picking him up.
• Huggies joined the fun a few mins into the workout, something about Thriller making him feel bad and making him post.
• Even though we were “counting” reps, a good healthy amount of mumble chatter.
• It was fun.
