COT: PAX were reminded of the selfless acts of LT Mike Murphy who lost his life in service to his country and fellow Seals.  YHC learned that LT Murphy was nicknamed “The Protector” in high school after he intervened when three bullies attempted to shove a disabled kid into a locker. PAX were reminded that it doesn’t take a hero to stand up for someone in need or to model a life of sacrifice in service to others.

Philippians 2:4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
