Warmarama:

Of course everything needed to be done to a rep count of 41.  YHC, although having been involved with F3 for 5 years, is still learning how to do things:

Squats-IC, but only to 41 total so we didn’t do that the entire beatdown

Side Straddle Hops-tried these single count to get to 41.  All PAX agreed this just felt weird.  Okay, we will do the rest in cadence but only half-count for the 21st rep.

Imperial Walkers-IC, 20.5 reps

Michael Phelps-IC, 20.5 reps

 

The Thang:

One burpee with the announcement that the PAX only have another 40 to do followed by a mosey to the duck pond.

The Circle of Life Fights Back, Part 1: PAX will partner up with similar running speeds and run 41 steps (only counting single leg) after which, 1 burpee will be performed.  After 1 loop around the pond (0.5 miles) and only completing 11 of the requisite 40 burpees, YHC made an audible to count both legs.  Once modified, all PAX had a grand time completing the running/40 burpees.

The Circle of Life Fights Back, Part 2: PAX moseyed to the tennis courts and split into 5 groups.  Four groups were stationed at each corner of the tennis court while the 5th group started in the middle.  All perimeter groups performed an exercise while the center court group completed a specific number of reps of a single exercise.  Once the center court group completed their exercise, they ran to the first corner and exchanged spots.  This was completed until each perimeter group completed the center court exercise.

Round 1: Perimeter group: Big Boy Situps, Center court: LBCs, 41 reps

Round 2: Perimeter group: merkins, Center court: Carolina Dry docks, only 11 reps due to time

 

Mosey back to the flags for some much-needed Mary.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

YHC is not sure how close the PAX are to achieving this level of comfort when the time comes to return to our father.  I endeavor to work to be closer to Paul’s position every day, although many times I fall short of making progress.  Thankfully, I have been surrounding by an amazing group of men to help point me in the right direction and bolster my confidence that I can continue to be a better me.  Thank you all for enriching my life over the past several years.
