Only the strong.” This sounded cool and we all wanted to be Spartans in our early 20s. However, this really isn’t want following Christ looks like. We need to be forgiving, loving, compassionate, patient. Instead of trying to have people identify you as a Spartan, how will they identify you as a Christian? “They will know we are Christians from our love, from our love.” Love first.

• This was pretty tough, people had gripes from certain exercises at each level.
• The one-armed lift cleans were very hard without gloves. There ended up being some glove sharing.
