    Mosey to football field

    THE THANG: With the football season completed as Kansas City won the Super Bowl, Funny Car had the Pax experience his football workout that he was used a few times in prior workouts. The football was called “Chief”. Each PAQ took a turn being QB and center. The QB called out the exercise to perform at the other end zone after a 100 yard run from end zone to end zone. For example, for the first exercise Funny car shouted “Merkins 25 Cadence Set Go”. The center then did a long snap to the QB and the Pax ran to the end zone and completed the exercise. Once the Pax finished the exercise They ran back to the other end zone on the QB’s command. The QB would stop at the 10 yard line and throw the football to the center in the end zone. If Chief hit the ground at any time then everyone did 5 burpees. Chief was dropped at least five times (it was dark). The Pax ran 200 yards 10 times with exercises including merkins, LBCs, American hammers, jump squats, bear crawl, prison cell burpees, lunges, Carolina dry docks, and others. Mosey back to the shovel flag with a round of Mary and dealer’s choice (six ab exercises performed).

    We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

    8 Pax showed up for the initial workout at Up the Creek which is a running workout Monday morning at 5:30 at Creekside Elementary school in Suffolk off of Shoulders Hill Road.
