2 grizzled PAX met in the gloom for the first workout after Christmas. YHC has to admit it’s hard to roll out of bed with the alarm clock reading anything starting with a 4 during Christmas break.
The Thang
After a quick warm-up it was time to run the cul-de-sacs. At each one perform 21s of Merkins and Squats starting with 20 Merkins and 1 Squat. YHC is sure Deflator felt like we were crawling instead of running since he runs with Dreamliner and Screen Door for EarlyBird every week. We hit most if not all the cul-de-sacs and headed back to the flags where we finished out the 21s.

YHC changed up the normal Christmas routine this year and headed to the eastern shore with family for a couple days through Christmas eve. It was our tradition growing up to go to grandma’s house for dinner then to a church service on Christmas eve. That was the first time in 5 years YHC was there and it made my grandma’s Christmas. So just remember to think about elderly family members and making memories with them while they are still with us even if it’s a little inconvenient at times.
