8 PAX came out ready to workout and strive toward their personal goals. The weather at Ironclad started out with rain but after it subsided, we were blessed with overcast skies, a breeze, and temperatures in the mid 70’s.

PAX moseyed over to the parking garage and stopped on the 4th floor to continue the beatdown. YHC pulled out the Deck of Death and separated it into suits; Clubs = Burpees, Diamonds = Carolina Dry Docks (CDDs), Spades = Mountain Climbers, and Hearts = Squats. YHC left Clubs and Diamonds on the 4th deck with Spades and Hearts on the 3rd deck. A PAX would draw a single card from each pile on the 4th deck signaling the start of Burpees and CDDs. The reps for each exercise were represented by the number on each of the cards. When the Burpees and CDDs were complete, PAX ran down to the 3rd deck and a single card was drawn from each of those piles signaling the start of Mountain Climbers and Squats. Once complete PAX ran back up to the 4th deck, rinse and repeat until all cards were drawn. However, about 3/4 of the way through the Deck of Death, the wind picked up and scattered the cards. In the second phase of the workout, YHC setup 4 cones and PAX completed Lunges, Bear Crawls, Duck Walks, and Sprints from cone to cone with a jog down to the 3rd deck and back. After 4 rotations PAX moseyed back to the flag to complete Circle of Pain (COP) Abs. PAX took turns picking an Abs exercise, but to figure out how many reps to accomplish they rolled 2 dice and then multiplied that number by 2. PAX completed; LBCs, Flutter Kicks, Box Cutters, Leg Climbers, Leg Lifts, and Rosalitas all IC. During the COP Abs, YHC forgot the count during one of the exercises and Submac forgot how to multiply. Great showing and workout today!

YHC read from the bible John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
