Five PAX (one an FNG) showed up bright and early at Stank Hill for a rare warm weather workout after all the ice and snow.
After introductions and the DISCLAIMER we got right into it…
Side-Straddle Hops, 4 Count, IC
Belly Busters, 4CICr
Fore and Afts, 4CIC
Flutter Kicks, 4CIC
Imperial Walkers, 4CIC
Then a steeplechase Mosey (follow the leader on a beeline course over picnic tables, etc.) to the pull-up station near Brown’s Mound for…
“Failure to Fifty”
Three separate exercises: Pullups – *Deck Squat Burpees – Dive Bombers
Complete 50 reps of the first exercise before going on to the next. If at any point you have to pause or take a break prior completing the full 50 reps (that’s the Failure part) you have to drop and do twenty 4-count flutter kicks – then pick back up where you left off.
*Deck Squat Burpees – from standing position squat and roll back onto your back and shoulders. Immediately roll back to your feet. Perform Burpee. That’s 1 rep.
The PAX and YHC did a lot of Flutter Kicks!!
After that it was a (slow) mosey back to the Flag for:
Buddy Carry around a tree and back
Back to back air squat holds with a buddy for time (wall sits without a wall).
Completely spent, it was time for COUNTARAMA, NAMORAMA, and BALL OF MAN.
The FNG got his name – courtesy of his love of all things Batman and his Firefighter/Medic status – BATDOC.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Many thanks to all who participated.
