The Thang
PAX ran as a group to the loop in the park and were broken into groups of 3. Two PAX from each group jogged clockwise around the loop while the third member sprinted counterclockwise. Once PAX met up, a new PAX turned around to sprint. Pattern continued until all PAX sprinted three loops. Process was repeated on a larger loop on the way back to the flags.
PAX were too fast and completed the runs early. All were rewarded with 2 rounds of the Funny Car Special aka suicide runs in the parking lot.

Proverbs 3:11-12 “My son, despise not the chastening of Jehovah; Neither be weary of his reproof: For whom Jehovah loveth he reproveth, even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.” A reminder that as adults and leaders in our family and community, we are not above being disciplined – just like a father disciplines his children. PAX were reminded that challenges in life may be an opportunity to set back and assess their current course in life. It might be a teaching opportunity for ourselves if we are wise enough to listen.
