Our current off-the-books “slow” runners club (SRC) is starting to hit it’s stride with 5 PAX this morning at SlothHill.
The Thang:
Warmarama: 30 (not 25) side straddle hops (In Cadence), 20 mountain climbers (IC).
Run portion was based on the Reese Strong 5K the hard way. Yes, this is the same race where the Pink Shovel Flag originated. The rules are simple. Every 5 minutes, on the 5 minute mark, stop and complete 25 merkins and 25 squats. All told six stops with one lap around lake, full ridge run, and short out and back from base around the front side to the steps.
Mary: Captain Thor (1:4 ratio of big boy sit-ups and American hammers) from 1:4 up to 4:16.

Discussed how the root of most conflicts in YHC’s relationships have been about both parties putting their own interest over that of the other person.

NEXT SATURDAY is the F3 family picnic. More information will be coming from SpaceMonkey on Monday but the main points are that the workout will take place at the Virginia Beach waterfront at Hillier Ignite Fitness Park and NOT at Mt. Trashmore. Workout time is 0700 with M’s and 2.0’s showing up around 0815.
