  • Yesterday’s evening workout at #Ironclad was a blast. We had 15 PAX including 1 FNG show up for this special beat down. A photographer from the Oyster Pointer was there to get photos for an article set to release in August.

    The Thang
    Warmarama
    Side straddle hops x25 IC (In Cadence)
    Through-the-tunnel x10 IC
    Shoulder circles (forward, backward, above head each direction) x10 each IC
    Burpees x10 OYO

    Mosey to fountain with coupons (dumbbells).

    Partner up. PAX #1 runs ¼ way around fountain and back. PAX #2 completes AMRAP of exercise. Flapjack on PAX #1 return. Exercises included left arm shoulder press, right arm shoulder press, step-ups, and big boy sit-ups. Repeat until each partner has performed each exercise.

    20 second Al Gore. FEBA.

    With same partner, PAX #1 bear crawls 25 yards and crawl bear back. PAX #2 completes AMRAP of exercise. Flapjack on PAX #1 return. Exercises included left arm curls, right arm curls, step-ups, and big boy sit-ups. Repeat until each partner has performed each exercise.

    Mosey to 2nd floor of Marriot parking deck depositing coupons at shovel flags along the way.

    Run down ramp to level 1 and back up to level 2. EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute) of merkins, big boy sit-ups, and overhead claps. Repeat for second round.

    6 minutes of Mary: Flutter kick double ring of fire, American hammers, big boy sit-ups, box cutters, and clock leg lifts.

    NMM:

    • The PAX exceeded YHC expectations in both numbers and output this evening. Thank you all for making the effort to come out.
    • Photographer said photos/videos may need to be edited due to “coin slots” showing during bear crawl.
    • Mumble chatter was strong during the entire workout.
    • Ended workout with solid joke during clock leg lifts. YHC does not remember the setup line exactly so he will not butcher it here.
    • Mumble chatter continued during 2ndF at Aroma’s post-workout.

    Tonight was a great example of “reaping” in due season.
