In honor of President’s Day, 7 Pax arrived to learn a few things about Presidential history.

30 SSH IC
20 Flappy Squats IC. The idea for this exercise came from my son. We were in the store and I saw him doing a squat while flapping his arms. I asked “what do you call that” and he stated without hesitation “Flappy Squats.” Pax found it hard not to laugh.
15 Windmills IC
15 Michael Phelps IC
Workout
As usual we got things started off by taking a mosey around the DDG pound. Next, YHC thought it would be important to teach fellow PAX some Presidential history with trivia questions. YHC incorporated a 25 question quiz into a Wall of Fire routine. The Pax that had to answer the question would remain in the People’s Chair position just as our Presidents. If the answer was correct, remaining PAX completed 3 exercises with 10 reps. If the answer was wrong, remaining Pax had to complete 3 exercises with 15 reps. 1st round exercises were Merkins, LBCs, and Burpees. 2nd round exercises were Merkins, LBCs, and Mt. Climbers. 3rd round exercises were Alternating Shoulder Taps, Big Boy Situps, and Mt. Climbers. 4th round exercises were Alternating Shoulder Taps, Big Boy Situps, and Leg Thrusts. We made it through 16 questions and got 8 correct.
COTS
One of my favorite Presidents is Abraham Lincoln and I wanted to share a few of his quotes.
1. Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.
2. My concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God’s side, for God is always right.
3. I can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I cannot conceive how a man could look up into the heavens and say there is no God.
