Despite the fact that many of our F3 brothers were either celebrating the holidays down range (or perhaps just fartsacking due to a late night of Black Friday shopping), this morning welcomed 6 strong Pax to StinkHill, including EOM (DR himself from Greenville)

YHC came fully prepared with the M’s Bluetooth speaker in order to have the Pax embrace the “Sally Up, Sally Down” Merkin Challenge. Cowboy brought this challenge to my attention last week (probably knowing full well that YHC could not let it go by without an attempt). Have to admit that they were without a doubt the most difficult 30 Merkins YHC has ever performed. Well worth adding as a StinkHill staple and now that “Sally Up, Sally Down” has been downloaded, we have a whole host of exercises that can be performed to SUSD.
Upon completion of SUSD Merkins, the Pax did a quick mosey to the playground east of StinkHill for a round of Black Jack (Merkins, Big Boy Situps):
20 Merkins, lap around the playground, 1 Big Boy Sit-up, lap around the playground,… It only took 6 laps before YHC fully understood the level of effort each lap required and quickly audibled to perform both exercises after each lap. As the Pax finally completed the last Merkin and 20 Big Boy Situps necessary to bring a merciful end to Blackjack, YHC realized that we had but 4 minutes left of our very valuable F3 time left and called for a hasty return to the flags. Where we went right into:

(YHC expressed thanks for the Pax, the day the opportunities that F3 provides, and an appeal to all to share this blessing that we’ve both found and created with others)

While technically not an F3 event due its indoor nature, YHC would like to express sincere thanks to Sunshine for opening up his CrossFit gym Thanksgiving morning and allowing himself, Cowboy, Freefall, and YHC the opportunity to establish a calorie credit prior to the feast that was to come. Indoor or not, the beatdown was F3 worthy.
Keep giving it away men,
