It was a pleasant surprise to have 3 dedicated Pax and 1 somewhat apprehensive FNG (Cowboy) post at SlothHill this beautiful Sunday morning! With its intended mission to support those in the SRC (Slow Runners Club), SlothHill seems to be the ideal setting to EH particularly reluctant F3 prospects and will serve us well in that task. After YHC’s complete mangling of the disclaimer, we got moving.

The Thang
Slow mosey around the lake (The String) with several stops (Pearls) along the way as follows (again, YHC’s memory is cloudy at best):
1. 50 Air Squats
2. 25 Derkins
3. 25 Big Boy Sit-ups
4. 25 Bench Dips
At this point we were about 2/3 of the way around the lake and rather that continue on our normal path, we made a detour up the hill to the first methane pole where we did a quick round of Dealer’s Choice where the dealer calls out an exercise for the group to perform while he runs down and back up the hill. Game continues until all have been the Dealer. Dealers’ choices were as follows:
1. Side Straddle Hops
2. Merkins
3. Plank Jacks
4. Air Squats
Mosey on to the 2nd methane pole where we knocked out 25 Big Boy Sit-ups.
Then on to the 3rd and final Methane pole where we gathered some rocks for a couple rounds of Colt 45’s sandwiched around a trek down the hill to the 1st landing and then back up Bernie Sanders style. Upon completion of the 2nd round of Colt 45’s, we returned the rocks to there resting place around the City Seal and had enough time for another trek down the hill to the first landing, and bear crawl back to the summit before heading down the steps and back to the flags.
