  • Four Hampton Roads stalwarts joined in the gloom at #DuckDuckGoose for the second attempt at the Millenial routine.  Here’s how it went.

    Warmarama: 10x TTT (Through the Tunnel), 10x IW, 10x SSH

    The Thang: Partner routine with partner 1 performing repetitions of a specified exercise while partner 2 runs to a specified point and back.  Flapjack until total repetitions between partners equals 200, then move on to the next exercise.  10 exercises x 200 repetitions = 2000 total repetitions.  The run point was the second light pole on the path around the lake.  Exercises were as follows (all were 2-count with the obvious exception of the final round): 1. SSH  2. Lunges  3. Merkins  4. LBCs  5. Mtn. Climbers  6. Flutter Kicks  7. Shoulder circles  8. Squats  9. Crunchy Frogs 10. Burpees.  Between the two partnerships we almost finished but our time ran out with the lead pair having only 138 burpees completed.  The quest to complete the Millennial in 45 minutes will have to continue…

    COT: 2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.  The old has gone, the new is here.  When we give our lives to Christ and are one with Him, we are each made new.  Our thoughts, attitudes, and perspectives are all changed and the old, worldly version is gone.  Particularly early in the new year let us remember to be made new through Christ as we go about our lives.

    NMM: Quad P this month is curls. 25 lbs per arm minimum.  Log the number of repetitions per arm.
