  • With a minute and a half left till the start of the workout I was all alone and then Marvel and Bachelor Pad arrived to give me some company. The weather was perfect for a weekend beatdown.

    The Thang

    Warmarama:

    25 Side Straddle Hops IC

    20 Through the Tunnel IC

    10 fwd/10 back Shoulder Circles IC

    10 large fwd Shoulder Circles IC

    Workout:

    Following the Warmarama, PAX moseyed around the Ironclad Fountains to get the heart pumping. YHC had the PAX stop at one of the four stations around the fountains to begin the workout and from that station PAX bear crawled to the next station. Now that our arms were burning, YHC announced that we were going to start BOMBS (Burpees, Overhead Claps, Merkins, Big Boy Sit-ups, and Squats). This was a partner exercise similar to the DORA format and each exercise was completed in succession with 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 reps. So, PAX started with 100 Burpees and the partner had to run around the fountains to relieve their fellow PAX. Next was 200 overhead claps, 300 Merkins, 400 Big Boy Sit-ups, and 500 Squats. Mumble Chatter was at a minimum and PAX were able to finish the BOMBS workout with seconds left and moseyed back to the flag just as the hour came to an end.
