Seven Pax reported for duty at a cool and breezy SlothHill this morning, but we wouldn’t be worried about the frigid conditions for long.

YHC brought up his experience watching the NCAA Championships last night… No, not that silly roundball GAME, but the oldest (and greatest) SPORT of wrestling. While only one competitor in each weight class was able to get his arm raised as an NCAA champion, as related in the chosen verse below, all were winners as a result of being tested throughout the season:
James 1:2-3 NIV
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
Just as each of those young men were tested throughout the season by their opponents, coaches, teammates, dietary restrictions, grueling practices, etc…, all ended the season better athletes (and men) than when they began and as a result, were winners. Similarly, we men are tested daily: physically (often by our F3 brothers), mentally, and emotionally. We should welcome those tests because it is through those trials that we become better men. Great to see the Pax 7 strong at SlothHill. The consistent numbers are gratifying and bode well for the AO’s growth as the warm weather approaches. Special T-Claps go out to Cowboy for dragging himself out of the fartsack after what appeared to be a night spent celebrating the Luck O’ the Irish (perhaps a LITTLE too heartily).
Keep giving it away men,
